A DVR (digital video recorder) is the intelligent integration hub for a video security system. These easy to use devices provide for live monitoring of the surveillance cameras, and can record activity during recent weeks (recording length based on quality settings and amount of disc storage space in system). Motion detection features of the DVR can be used to trigger recordings, mark sections for later review when units are set for full time recording, and to provide user notifications (emails, alarms) when activity is detected. Our DVR systems can also be monitored remotely from computers running internet explorer, and many units are Macintosh compatible as well. Our surveillance systems can be monitored by smart phones such as the iPhone and Android.
